It appears that this driver is prepared for JPEG and H264 decoding in the
future as well, correct?

Wasn't the H264 decoding stateless for the Rockchip VPU?

It's a bit confusing looking at this. If the intention is to add JPEG and
H264 decoding to this driver as well, then I would feel more comfortable
if this driver is added to staging first.

Please drop this. The vb2 framework takes care of this, and in any

Other than the few trivial things I found my main concern is what the
intention is of this driver for JPEG decoding and H264 decoding. Can we
discuss this on irc?
