While the RISC-V Linux kernel uses DT as its primary device data format.  
But that doesn't carry any implications as to where that data is stored on 
any given implementation.  Based on the ARM experience, it's highly likely 
that many RISC-V systems will not store DT in firmware, for reasons that 
have probably been rehashed too many times already to do so again.
