Hello.

Because Linux distributions started with dropping Python 2 recently, I tried
to prepare patches to make DTC Python 3 compatible.
Heh, I was just thinking of suggesting that we to Simon that we should make
sure the extensions are Python 3 compatible.

I've made possible to specify Python executable via an environment variable
(with Python 2 as default) and all necessary changes to make all tests pass
with both Pythons.
Nice!

Let me know if you find something wrong or if I can do something
more.
Having all the patches as attachments is awkward for review. The
normal convention for dtc patches (like many projects) is to have one
patch per mail, in the body of the mail. git send-email is usually
the easiest way to do that.
Done. I did it for the first time and therefore it took some time until I set git properly because I cannot use all email providers because of 2FA. But, fortunately, I manage to deliver all patches one by one.

Let me know if I can do something else.

I'll need to get reviews of these from Simon Glass as well, since the
Python interface is his work.
