i raised https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/58491 to track this as a teuthology bug

i scheduled a rerun of the rgw suite exclusively against centos9 and
ubuntu22.04:
https://pulpito.ceph.com/cbodley-2023-01-18_15:20:22-rgw-main-distro-default-smithi/

some of the ubuntu jobs passed, and the rest failed due to issues
specific to the rgw suite. so i don't think there are any general
blockers regarding ubuntu 22.04

all of the centos stream 9 jobs died with this fog error:

> Error reimaging machines: Fog has no smithi_centos_9.stream image. Available smithi images: ['smithi_centos_8.stream', 'smithi_rhel_8.2', 'smithi_rhel_8.4', 'smithi_rhel_8.6', 'smithi_ubuntu_16.04', 'smithi_ubuntu_18.04', 'smithi_ubuntu_20.04', 'smithi_ubuntu_22.04']

i raised https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/58492 against the sepia
project to track this
