Hello Kunal,

Thanks for your interest in contributing to Ceph for Google Summer of Code!

The first steps to get involved in this project are:
1) Have a look at our developer tour page:
https://docs.ceph.com/en/latest/dev/developer_guide/dash-devel/,
2) Review the specific tracker issue describing this GSoC project
(https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/43264),
3) Set up a development environment (I recommend that you follow this
guide: https://github.com/rhcs-dashboard/ceph-dev#quick-install),
4) Access the Ceph Dashboard from your development environment.
5) Once you've reviewed these steps and feel you are ready, send me
the textual output of your cluster deployment (from step 3) as well as
a screenshot of the Dashboard landing page (from step 4).

***An important detail to note is that you need access to a Linux
operating system that supports Docker (must be Fedora 3x, CentOS 8/9,
Ubuntu, or Debian).***

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. The Dashboard
team is reachable at the OFTC #ceph-dashboard IRC room (you can use a
webchat https://webchat.oftc.net/ or a desktop app
https://element.io/personal). Most of us are based in India, Spain and
the US, so you're likely to always find someone there. You may also
reach out to me (Laura Flores) at lflores@xxxxxxxxxx.

About the selection process, we'd like to see you getting involved
when possible in at least one Dashboard or Core community event,
whatever works best with your time zone (event details at the bottom).
Regarding your proposal document, you can use the multiple templates
provided in https://google.github.io/gsocguides/.

Looking forward to seeing you contributing soon.
