Fewer embarrassing type errors found by end users in our Python code base

Hi,

Just a few releases ago, we used to have lots of embarrassing type errors found by end users in our Python code base. Like e.g.

https://tracker.ceph.com/projects/ceph/repository/revisions/2062e84c7a33fc5170740f2d60d07ddf62085457/diff/src/pybind/mgr/balancer/module.py

I don't know if you noticed, I certainly noticed that by now we have fewer of those issues recently. And I think this is a great achievement. Thanks to everyone helping with adding static type checking to our CI, especially Kefu.

Sebastian
