We use saslauthd (v2.1.26) to authenticate from LDAP to Kerberos. I would like to turn on caching on the LDAP servers that are using for wireless authentications. Even though I will probably keep the expiration time fairly low (maybe 1-4 hours) there's going to be quite a few people authenticating (20,000-25,000 per day). I haven't been able to find anything to help with monitoring or setting the hash table size to deal with this kind of traffic. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would the default setting be able to handle this kind of traffic?
thanks,
