Hi everybody,

I am trying to compile the HEAD of the Cyrus-SASL github repository on a
Solaris 11.3 x86_64 machine using the Oracle Developer Studio 12.5.

However, it ends when it tries to link the libsasl2.so complaining that a
libobj.a is missing:

Hi Matthias,

Just out of curiousity, is it mandatory to use the Oracle Developer Studio compiler, or are the GNU tools an option in your case? If the GNU tools are ok, I can drop you my notes for building out most software with the GNU packages provided by Oracle.
