I have already configured this for cyrus-imap ON THE SAME MACHINE (everything is on the same system, slapd, cyrus and postfix), and, obviously, it works just fine. The logs are attached, for information.
I suspect a chrooting issue with Postfix. The sasl glue library compiled into Postfix needs to find the dynamic plugin libraries in /usr/lib/sasl2. -- Dan White
