Some crackers have decided to flood our server with sasl authentication requests to our vsftpd server. Such access is not available but they waste bandwidth and processing time trying. Is there anyway to block them? Just blocking IPs would help; blocking all access but SMTP (all we use sasl for) would be great, too. Thanks for your attention.
