I'd like to announce the release of Cyrus SASL 2.1.22 on
ftp.andrew.cmu.edu. This version includes numerous bug fixes and
several new features including a new application ("pluginviewer") that
helps report information about installed plugins, the ability to have
separate configuration file and plugin directories, and a new HTTP POST
password verifier for saslauthd.
The Cyrus SASL library is a generic library for SASL authentication.
It's used for authentication by Sendmail, OpenLDAP, INN, and the Cyrus
IMAP server.
Many thanks go out to Alexey Melnikov who did the bulk of the work on
2.1.22.
