AFAIK, there is nothing intrinsic to dm-crypt that sets its maximum
size differently than the rest of the kernel.  That said, the 2TB
block device limit is only in effect under 2.6 if you have a 32-bit
kernel with CONFIG_LBD=n; otherwise your maximum block device size is
2^73.
