On a Gentoo system yesterday, after installing loop-aes-3.1c I received the warning that the loop.ko module has an executable stack.

However, I did not receive that message just now when re-installing.

Hi Jari,

I'm having trouble getting the latest hardened kernel and loop-aes happy with each other, I've used older hardened kernels before. I suspect it is over
ambitious lockdown of PaX and GrSecurity.

# head -c 15 /dev/urandom | uuencode -m - | head -n 2 | tail -n 1 \
| | losetup -p 0 -e AES128 /dev/loop3 /dev/md/1
Segmentation fault
