Most likely you are trying to use mount program version that does not
understand 'phash=random' mount option. Did you follow README instructions
about building and installing new mount program?

# strings -a /bin/mount | grep random
/dev/urandom
Error: unable to open /dev/urandom
random
# mount --version
mount: mount-2.12r
