Attention list administrator.
Setting your list to be writable to anyone, on or off the list, is useless. If you think that this is somehow welcoming to new questions, this is untrue. A serious query almost never gets back to the sender unless the repliers specifically include them, and anyone serious about finding information should know how to subscribe to the list. On the other hand, you allow the list address to be spammed, which wastes everyone's time and bandwidth.
Please turn off this 'feature', as it hurts more than it heals.
