Well, ok. The URL is about loop-aes <-> vs. mainline kernel comcept. What about ppdd vs loop-aes? Correct me, if wrong, but multiple keys are not necessary in non-blockwise modes? If you think of bigger tar archives (1,5 GB - 4GB), are multiple-keys encryption also necessary there? Furthermore: If you have n keys. Is there an max amount ma(n) of data, which can be considered to be save? (What is ma(n))? Well, furthermore, too, what exactly is the relationship between loop-aes and aespipe? Can I safely encrypt / decrypt everthing with aespipe in userland I want to use / used with aes-loop or are there any restrictions? Keep smiling yanosz -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iQIVAwUBQX5hpNAHMQ8GQaYRAQJ7UA/7B5A1761ytsEovi4doE2FJ9JSHuZcQL6Y 8CEwdFs8558ju/rmQ3j3ea1Xg72i2tubeztTqLwp3pXIV+/DzXJHL2touJeW2iTG Z24OjIQjASaaALGiQ081pO7EiUwKw++M5tPbQHOe35sPPVDS1cds1WbAdrLSc4mA CatWZ9gryx2ONMM7XYf0uAe8buxBmlqXWCgAaDew0vAxK4w+q0X/NBax0k9wJ4Rb yIvRzfi7aZyy22Ib5uCV3uztcXom25I94f7yYbuwJLRXqDjjhNB8gshbg2+Ezpax dHujHcHtVhaB+LKXjtYkt/N/8Hr9in46wSsUtmaohZuEaHAz+x12y9gkB9B0P1Qa Kj6TYu8KtcIszYqikjfOD+pj3A4E59Ey0Fk672TyDItfoyY/aMirZ0tkQKCKhkr0 BGxhjfgpBieJkljcMHvgOa0k9e4EhN7s6TWUZkdNnMhqM7may1ROaoTH9UqFz0Ap HdV+tH3RMdVywN3Kk/WUYYHREAsaupbJRi05FRPLKbyNzh5vnefr615q2L1fh56l 4fRrbwEAjFW/GcPvCunhDyr7sQWZxYm4uOU0ikiS7aMFdCDyzB5NPL4NtKzVipSY i2kpwCRanP7n6KruGwlmnkEZSHfyQ+/pNprfdAZjaXj4gbEt166jLi7pCtWPq2/Z MLS9xvLV3hE= =1CgO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- - Linux-crypto: cryptography in and on the Linux system Archive: http://mail.nl.linux.org/linux-crypto/
