Hi everybody, I've just uploaded hashalot 0.2.0: New features: - Support for salted passphrases. - New supported hash: "rmd160compat" -- does a RIPEMD160 hash and then truncates it to 16 bytes, like the old kerneli.org patch did (and Debian still does). Thanks to Clemens for the patch. Also made a small change to the losetup patch, to fix a bug that could be triggered if one were to change the extra args to the keygen program (which are compile-time constants... IOW don't worry about it). Hashalot and my losetup patches are available at <URL:http://www.stwing.org/~sluskyb/util-linux/> Andries: we seem to be coming up on the 2.6.0 release, it would be nice if the stock losetup could work with the stock kernel to create an encrypted loop device. What do you think about merging my patches? - -Ben -- Ben Slusky | Yakka foob mog. Grug pubbawup sluskyb@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx | zink wattoom gazork. Chumble sluskyb@xxxxxxxxxx | spuzz.
