Have anyone managed to startup crypted volumes during bootup? I mean it would be nice during bootup to be asked a question for the pw (and maybe also the crypto-type). Then the system would mount all the filesystems (/, /etc, /var, ..., etc) encrypted. That would be cool, wouldn't it? :)
If there are problems to use this for the root-partition in maybe would be easier to do it for locations like /etc and /var ? I mean you could use symlinks for e.g. /etc pointing to the loop-mounted crypt-file.
Any comments?
