Hi, I wanted to try out loop-AES with kernel 2.4.20 (latest kernel in Debian with the kernel-patch-xfs) but 6 hunks failed (loop.c 6, 14, 25, 27, 28, 29). This is my first "patch experience" and I don't know how to continue from here safely. Can I download a patch from kernel.org for loop.c apply it and then loop-AES? Or must I wait till a kernel-source-2.4.21 and a new kernel-patch-xfs package is available? And while we are at it: Do I still need to patch util-linux? Version here is 2.11z-1. (Can anyone give me a hint then, how to do it under Debian, so that I get a new deb? Too sad there isn't a kernel-patch-loop-aes.) Another question to Jari: I've seen loop-AES-v1.7d.tar.bz2 on loop-aes.sourceforge.net but no announcement on this list. Did I miss something or should still 1.7c be used?
