Sorry, but your util-linux-2.11t diff seems not to handle encrypted swap "swapoff -a" case correctly. Swapon/swapoff code was extensively rewritten in util-linux-2.11t, and I had to rewrite encrypted swap code for util-linux-2.11t swapon/swaoff. Util-linux-2.11t patches for loop-AES have been available here for a while: http://loop-aes.sourceforge.net/updates/2002-07-17/util-linux-2.11t-1.diff.bz2 http://loop-aes.sourceforge.net/updates/2002-07-17/util-linux-2.11t-1.diff.bz2.sign http://loop-aes.sourceforge.net/updates/2002-07-17/util-linux-2.11t-2.diff.bz2 http://loop-aes.sourceforge.net/updates/2002-07-17/util-linux-2.11t-2.diff.bz2.sign Regards, Jari Ruusu <jari.ruusu@pp.inet.fi> - Linux-crypto: cryptography in and on the Linux system Archive: http://mail.nl.linux.org/linux-crypto/
