International Kernel Patch + Lock Breaking + Preempt = bad

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

As the subject said, installing the IKP + the lockbreaking patch + the
preemptive kernel caused umount to solid lock the computer (to the point that
the magic sysrq command was the only thing functioning). Recompiling the
kernel without lockbreaking and preempt makes everything function perfectly.
Thought you guys might be interested to know about this, I can provide more
information if it'd help.

Thanks,
Jay Davis
