AMD Athlon X2 64 5000+, 8GB ram
Mandriva 2010.2 32 bit

1. mandriva kernel 2.6.37 32 desktop 32 bit

list of profiles : ondemand, powersave, conservative, userspace, performance
list of enable frequencies : 2.60 GHz, 2.40 GHz, 2.20 GHz, 2.00 GHz, 1.80 GHz,
1000 MHz

ondemand works well : i see it chooses different frequencies along time

2. mandriva kernel 2.6.37 32 server 32 bit (to use 8GB) or MIB Kernel desktop
with pae (to use 8 GB) 32 bit, 3.0.x, 3.1.x, 3.2.x

list of profiles : userspace,performance
list of enable frequencies : 2.60 GHz, 2.40 GHz, 2.20 GHz, 2.00 GHz, 1.80 GHz,
1000 MHz

if system uses performance profile no freeze or reboot pb but then system uses
only 2600 MHz.
cpufreq-info says : it can choose any frequency

if at boot system loads cpufreq_ondemand module and uses "ondemand profile"
then
at boot or during kde session after a brief time (5 s, 5mn, 10 mn), system
reboot by itself !
or
during opening a kde session or during kde session system freezes.

before freezing we see different frequencies are used

note :system can works without pb during a day but freezes next day !

same pb with mandriva 2011 64 bit, Mageia 64 bit with kernel 3.0 or 3.3

thanks in advance
