Hi, When I tried to insert the module p4-clockmod I got the follwing error message FATAL: Error inserting p4_clockmod (/lib/modules/2.6.28-16-generic/kernel/arch/x86/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/p4-clockmod.ko): No such device And in dmesg I got the message: [93829.877842] p4-clockmod: Unknown p4-clockmod-capable CPU. Please send an e-ma il to <cpufreq@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> My system specs are: System:xeon E5420 on S5000V (MOB) OS: ubuntu jaunty Linux flamingo 2.6.28-16-generic #57-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 11 09:49:32 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux By the way how do I start cpu frequency scaling on my system. I have searched the web and tried many things, but could not get cpu frequency scaling to work. I get the "module not found" message on the applet.
