http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15331 Summary: sound stuttering when loading speedstep-smi Product: Power Management Version: 2.5 Kernel Version: 2.6.32.8 Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Tree: Mainline Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P1 Component: cpufreq AssignedTo: cpufreq@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ReportedBy: florz@xxxxxxxx Regression: No Sound playback starts stuttering as soon as I load the speedstep-smi driver on my T20 thinkpad (with T22 BIOS), without even having changed the frequency. Frequency switching otherwise seems to work fine. I can get rid of the stuttering by causing 100 % CPU load - but that's somewhat counterproductive given that I wanted to reduce power consumption ... :-) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe cpufreq" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
