I have an emachines e525 vlaptop and /var/log/messages contains this
line:
Feb 4 14:31:50 laptop kernel: p4-clockmod: Unknown CPU. Please send an e-mail to <cpufreq@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
... so I have. Please let me know if you need more info.
