Ah ok, it's probably (not sure) something else then.
There have been other reports about suspend/resume problems:

Could this be related to (by Dave Jones, Subject of the mail: Re: Warning
during suspend with MS-7310 mainboard, 30-07-09):
I'm just going to #ifdef __powerpc__ the suspend/resume paths of cpufreq
today, because I'm tired of seeing reports of this bug.

I haven't followed up the suspend/resume problems, hope someone can point you
to something to test, I can look at it again if it is a different problem and
e.g. _PPC or thermal related (then processor.ignore_ppc=1 should be worth a
test).
