LS, I'm writing to you because upon loading the p4-clockmod module, I see the following in my dmesg output: p4-clockmod: Unknown p4-clockmod-capable CPU. Please send an e-mail to <cpufreq@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Also, the loading of the module fails with this error: FATAL: Error inserting p4_clockmod (/lib/modules/2.6.28/kernel/arch/x86/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/p4-clockmod.ko): No such device My processor is an Intel Atom 330 @ 1.6 GHz with four logical processors in one physical package, and the motherboard chipset is Intel ICH7. I've tried both a 2.6.27 kernel with Gentoo patches, and a vanilla 2.6.28 kernel, with the same results. None of the other cpufreq drivers work, p4-clockmod is the only one that seems to do anything at all. I've included the contents of /proc/cpuinfo and the output of x86info.
