Re: 2 node not syncing

What is your corosync.conf?

You said you've upgraded. In my recent case, the following steps helped me:

1. nodelist.node MUST contain only IP addresses. No hostnames! They simply do not work, "crm status" shows no nodes. And no warnings are in logs regarding this.
2. quorum {} MUST NOT be empty (in the config sample it IS empty): in my case, the following fixed the problem together with (1):

quorum {
    provider: corosync_votequorum
    two_node: 1
}

Hello Everyone,

I have been trying to figure out an issue that I have been having with a two node cluster.

Here is the header info:

Last change: Mon Jan  5 18:01:21 2015 via cibadmin on A_NODE
Stack: openais
Current DC: A_NODE - partition WITHOUT quorum
Version: 1.1.7-ee0730e13d124c3d58f00016c3376a1de5323cff
1 Nodes configured, 2 expected votes
22 Resources configured.

I have had the two nodes in sync before, but then after a package update … I seem to have lost the two from syncing to each other.

I first fixed all the DRBD issues and performed a full sync to have them in sync — but I was unable to get them connected still.
I had stopped the firewall on both machines to eliminate that as an issue … and this did not fix the issue.

The two node do not see each other at all — I have even resorted to removing the one node from the cluster and re-copying the auth key and config files.

I am at a loss to find where to look… I have cleared all pe-engine files and cleared the cib to have the newly (re)added node try and sync the config from the other one.

Kind Regards,
Etienne Pretorius
