You might want to try unicast. It's possible something isn't playing
nice with multicast. If unicast works, either stick with that or look
into your network config to see what might be breaking mcast.
cheers

Sorry, my bad. I just realized that it is the randomly assigned node id.
However, I still do not see the nodes joining each other.
Thanks

Hi All,
I'm trying to install a corosync cluster with many machines. I'm
using the default config except of the change in totem net bind
address.
When I start corosync on both the machines, I don't see them joining
each other. Besides, the number of members in quorum seems crazily
high *633052984 *&***633052951* on two different machines.
Do you have any idea, what is going wrong? Or if I am missing
something? Any help is much appreciated.
Following are the config part and the print logs when running in
foreground:
..
interface {
# The following values need to be set based on your environment
ringnumber: 0
bindnetaddr: 37.187.159.0
mcastaddr: 226.94.1.1
mcastport: 5406
}
..
The ip address of this machine is 37.187.159.56 and mask is
255.255.255.0
