switch to libtool and improve portability

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

with this patchset, we can finally link all libraries and binaries
with libtool.

it also fixes different issues to build and run on FreeBSD9 and
openindiana 151a5.

There is still a decent amount of work to do, for libqb/corosync
to be fully portable, but this is already a decent step forward.

libqb git master is required to run on those exotic OS'es.

On FreeBSD9:

pkg_add -r git autotools gcc pkg-config gmake bash
pkg_add -r doxygen libcheck
pkg_add -r nss net-snmp dbus libstatgrab

libqb
export MAKE=/usr/local/bin/gmake
cd libqb
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/
gmake all
gmake install

cd corosync
./configure --enable-augeas --enable-monitoring --enable-qdevices --enable-snmp --enable-testagents --enable-xmlconf --enable-dbus --prefix=/usr/local/
gmake all
gmake install

For openindiana, instructions will follow at a later stage due
to some complexity in defining the correct toolchain
