You don't seem to have attached any output from the failing tests. Is report.log the entirety of testsuite.log?
You may have more luck with GnuCOBOL 2.0; a lot of bugs have been fixed since 1.1. The binaries are available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/open-cobol/files/gnu-cobol/2.0/ if you're interested.
