----- Original Message ----- | | | Command is : mkfs.gfs2 -p lock_dlm -j 3 - t clst:lv_oraarch | /dev/myvg/lv_oraarch | | And output is: More than one block device specified (try -h for help) Hi, Thanks for the info. The problem seems to be the space between the "-t". I could recreate the problem, but without the space, it works: # mkfs.gfs2 -p lock_dlm -j 3 - t clst:lv_oraarch /dev/mpathc/mpathc More than one device specified (try -h for help) # mkfs.gfs2 -p lock_dlm -j 3 -t clst:lv_oraarch /dev/mpathc/mpathc This will destroy any data on /dev/mpathc/mpathc. It appears to contain: symbolic link to `../dm-7' Are you sure you want to proceed? [y/n] ^C It wouldn't hurt to open a bugzilla record and we could look into fixing it. If we do decide to fix it, it may be low priority, due to other things we're working on.
