RHEL 5.3 and later, gfs2 moved in to 'full support'.  However, 5.3 EUS
(async errata, updates/fixes/etc) closed in January, so ideally, you
should move to RHEL 5.6 - which has loads of fixes for gfs2 compared to
RHEL 5.3.
