On 2 rh el 5.5 clusters I manage, with slightly different level updates, and where I have HA-LVM configured, I don't get anything in vg_tags colums.... Versions of packages are respectively: lvm2-2.02.56-8.el5_5.6 on one cluster nodes lvm2-2.02.56-8.el5_5.5 on another cluster nodes. I'm using something like this in my lvm.conf files for the clusters: volume_list = [ "VolGroup00", "@node01" ] but no tag at all, both on passive and active node..... [root@server1 ~]# vgs -o vg_name,vg_tags VG VG Tags VG_ORA_APPL VG_ORA_DATA VG_ORA_LOGS VolGroup00 and the first three ones are acivated/mounted through HA-LVM Gianluca -- Linux-cluster mailing list Linux-cluster@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-cluster
