NFS clusters regarding Clients

In RH4U7 the clients had to use the protocol UDP to mount the served filesystems from a RHCS. Because, If a server failed that controlled the mounts, it would cause stale mounts or hang for 15 to 20 minutes on the clients.
Has this been fixed in RH 5.X...
