Hi,

As far as i know - fencing is required when you have to create two-node cluster.

Just finished such configuration on two IBM blades. We had to integrate redhat cluster with IBM bladecenter management in order to get working fencing.

Hi,

Are fencing devices always required in a redhat cluster configuration or optional?

Thanks a lot,
J. Farid
