Would you recommend a PAE Kernel on GFS cluster?
Would you recommend 64bit over 32bit version, if so why?
Our Experience so far:
1) We have new HP Proliant 385 servers with 32bit RHEL5 where non PAE kernel sees all the memory (32GB).
2) In our test environment recent update to kernel 2.6.18-128.4.1.el5 we were unable to register all the memory and PAE kernel gave us problems when mounting GFS.
