Cluster among geographically separated nodes ?

Hi,

I am trying to figure out if it is possible to create an RHCS cluster among nodes that are in remote locations? If yes, then how are the following handled? :

1. Storage - how is the shared storage acheived?
2. Fencing - any special methods to fence ?
3. Max. number of nodes possible in such a setup
4. any special methods/exceptions/rules to setup this cluster?

Pointers to any material in this regard will be great. Thanks much in advance.

Thanks and regards,
Brahadambal
