Didn't realise this was a internal bug. In any case, the problem statement in the bug is exactly what you mentioned in your email above. Recently changes went into vfs quotas to support ocfs2 quotas. If they can do it through the vfs and use the generic quota tools, we could as well. We're investigating how best to integrate our existing quota mechanism with the vfs.
