Title: Why We create Priquorum Partition?

Quorum disk is required to avoid a spilt brain situation in red hat cluster, of having cluster nodes more than 2. In a cluster, if partitioning happens then the partition having the qdisk will run the cluster.

More information can be get from cluster wiki (http://sources.redhat.com/cluster/wiki/FAQ/CMAN#quorum )

Thanks,

Santosh

Subject: Why We create Priquorum Partition?

Hello Guys,

I want to setup Clustering and I read in manual I read We Need to Create minimum 10 MB to 200 MB priquorum disk partition.Whats That?

Anybody who can explain why Cluster needs that space for?

Thanks in advance,

Ajeet
