Which RHEL version I need to install on my system?
Pls help.

I did the steps said by you but it is throwing error:


[root@BL01DL385 cluster-2.03.04]# ./configure

Configuring Makefiles for your system...

Checking tree: nothing to do

Checking kernel:
 Current kernel version: 2.6.9
 Minimum kernel version: 2.6.25
 FAILED!

Should I have to upgrade the kernel Version.

Hi Ajeet,

Check if you have the kernel development packages installed?
If yes then do a
[root@gsr1 ~]# cd /usr/src/
[root@gsr1 src]# ln -s kernels/2.6.18-92.el5-x86_64 linux

and then try to ./configure again. Let us know if that helps.
