Re: Basic RHEL 5.1 cluster problem

It is expected behavior for a cluster node to fence the 2nd node in a 2-node cluster _IF_ it comes up and it can't connect to the 2nd cluster node ccs daemon.

I've seen this happen in the past when multicast doesn't work as you might expect on your network.  You may want to try specifying a multicast IP address in the 224.0.0.111 - 224.0.0.250 range in your cluster.conf file.

2008/6/10 Loris Strozzini <lstrozzini@xxxxxxxxx>:
Hi all,
I have a problem with my RHEL 5.2 a 2 node cluster running on IBM X3650.
My cluster is configured for fencing on IBM RSAII via system-config-cluster, with only one network interface, no shared storage and I have followed the Red Hat Cluster suite for installation.
At the first look, no syntax error in my cluster.conf but when I'm going to start the cman and the rgmanager daemons on primary node the other node reboot or poweroff immediately.

Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance

Loris

My cluster.conf:
