active/active configuration and nice-failback (heartbeat)

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hallo

I set up two cluster IP's, balanced
between the nodes:
node1 192.168.3.103
node2 192.168.3.104

The heartbeat goes up and works:
on every node I have one cluster IP.
auto_failback is set to "on".

I do hb_standby and both IP's
go to the survivor node.

After I did restart heartbeat
on inactive node, one of the cluster
IP's does not come back.

Does nice_failback works if I
shutdown the one of cluster's nodes on
civilized manner ?
(i.e. for planned downtime)

Thanks in advance,

Shehzad
