No I had not :(
I have just tryed but the attempt was unsuccesful
# groupd
# ps -ef |grep groupd
root      1361 32302  0 07:24 pts/2    00:00:00 grep groupd
# groupd -D
1184732218 cman_init error 0 111


hal
produces the same error as fenced.
