The behavior in case of a failure can be configured (service attribute
"recovery", value choices are "restart", "relocate" and "disable").

In case you don't care for the status or want some custom begavior,
the best way is to write a custom service check script (or write
a wrapper around an existing one), e.g. one that always succeeds
when asked for the "status".
