If you are running CS4 at least, all you have to do is make your changes and then run "ccs_tool update /etc/cluster/cluster.conf" and it goes out to all the nodes automatically. With this functionality I wouldn't want to mess with a shared filesystem any potential mess you could get into. Is there any reason not to put cluster.conf on a shared filesystem that's mounted in fstab, and symlink /etc/cluster/cluster.conf to that shared location? Then one would only have to run cman_tool version -r <new_version_#> after updating the conf ... or am I missing some reason why this is a bad idea? -g Greg Forte gforte@xxxxxxxx IT - User Services University of Delaware 302-831-1982 Newark, DE -- Linux-cluster@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-cluster -- Linux-cluster@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-cluster
