Hi Patrick,

I work with NAME's in all lowercase, confirmed across cluster.conf and hosts and rdns

ifconfig shows this

root@NAME:~# ifconfig
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:16:3E:18:D0:B9
inet addr:202.XXX.132.2 Bcast:202.XXX.132.15 Mask:255.255.255.240
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
         RX packets:2083 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
         TX packets:1207 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
         collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
         RX bytes:286402 (279.6 KiB) TX bytes:555424 (542.4 KiB)

Cheers

Hi All,

I've searched through the list and cant find an answer to this problem,

Whenever i try and get my nodes to join the cluster i get the following
error

cman_tool: Can't find broadcast address for nod NAME

my hosts file looks like this

127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
202.XXX.132.2 NAME NAME.domain.tld

Debug shows this

root@NAME:~# cman_tool join -d
selected nodename NAME
setup up interface for address: NAME
cman_tool: Can't find broadcast address for node NAME

Check that there is an interface that maps to NAME and it has a valid
broadcast address assigned to it.

Oh, and try a lowercase NAME, just in case :)
