Nifty! I was actually looking at this the other day, and couldn't figure out a way to do it.

I just tried (successfully) TWO working implementations of
Linux was AltLinux (www.altlinux.ru, ftp.altlinux.ru - Master distribution upgraded to Sisyphus). And the working iscsi "targets" (providers of iscsi disks) was iscsi-target.sf.net
(better for me)
and umh-iscsi ( http://www.iol.unh.edu/consortiums/iscsi/)
BOTH worked fine with Microsoft initiator (the iscsi client).
