[Linux-cluster] 2.6.11-based GFS's concurrent-read performance declined badly

Hi,
After I updated GFS code from CVS on 2005/03/15 and
updated the kernel from kernel.org to version 2.6.11.3
The GFS's concurrent-read performance declined badly, from 150MB/s to 50MB/s.
When I used the kernel 2.6.9-1.667, the read rate was about 150MB/s,
but now I only have 50MB/s with the same test. My test is to concurrently read
(with pthread) 200 files on the same GFS directory.
The single read/write performance was the same as the 2.6.9-based GFS, as my test.

So what's the matter? I'm amazed badly...

Thanks for any help.
Luckey.
