We had an IP alias for eth0, and I don't know why, but when we delete the aliased address, every thing work smoothly.

Does any of you guys are working with more than one address for a physical interface ?
Any experience with that configuration ?

Hi people,
We are trying to set up a two nodes cluster with the latest cvs source from RedHat and when we are going to start both nodes we get that the first node form a quorum without problems, but the second one never get connected at cman level and remain trying to connect with the following error:

We are using kernel 2.6.9, and we have applied all the patches availables for it

Check your routes. By default, your multicast stuff will go out whatever your default route is. You may need to add a route to force the multicast out the proper NIC, e.g.

route add -net 224.0.0.0 netmask 255.0.0.0 dev eth1
